All I wanted to do was to post a quick, three word message saying "Happy New Year". Instead I've had a 10-15 minute battle all because Google want to transfer my account to my googlemail address, even though I'm quite happy with it where it is. Why do they feel that it's necessary to do that? It annoys the hell out of me.

The Treasure hunt went very well - we raised £115 for the two groups. I'm very relieved!

We're holding the annual car Treasure Hunt next Thursday. We usually hold 2 (one for the church and one for the residents' group), but interest has fallen so much we're just doing the one this time. Hope it goes OK.

I'm going train driving tomorrow. If it's anything like it was last year it should be great fun.

We're getting a fan for the office! Life should get a bit easier after next week!

The rain held off! I wasn't expecting that, but it was a nice surprise.

Several days of gloriously dry weather, and now it's raining. Tomorrow I'm helping out at the church fair (which is taking place outside). It's forecast more rain for tomorrow. Typical.

It's been very hot today. I spent most of the morning in a hot kitchen and all of the afternoon in a small office with no windows. It's not really ideal in this kind of weather.

Now that I've created this blog, I suppose I'd better decide what to write on it. I'll give it a bit of thought.
